How it works

From first visit to final walkthrough

  1. Week 1

    In-home consult

A 60-minute visit. We measure, look behind panels, and talk budget openly.

  2. Weeks 2–4

    Design & fixed quote

Floor plan, 3D views, material selections and a line-item price that won't drift.

  3. Weeks 4–8

    Permits & ordering

We file permits and order long-lead items so nothing stalls once demo starts.

  4. Build phase

    Construction

One project lead on site, a weekly schedule update, and a shared photo log.

  5. Final week

    Walkthrough & warranty

Punch list closed together, final inspection passed, 5-year warranty issued.

Questions

Before you call

The things homeowners ask most in the first conversation.

Is the quote really fixed?

Yes. The contract price only changes if you request a change, or if we uncover a hidden condition such as rot or out-of-code wiring. Either way you approve a written change order with a price before any work proceeds.

Can we live at home during the remodel?

Usually. We seal the work area with zip-up dust walls, protect floors along the path, and clean daily. For kitchen remodels we can set up a temporary sink and counter.

Who pulls the permits?

We do. Drawings, filings, inspection scheduling and fees are part of every contract.

How do payments work?

Payments are tied to completed milestones, never to dates. The deposit is 10%, and the final 5% is due only after the walkthrough punch list is closed.

What does the warranty cover?

Five years on our workmanship: framing, tile, trim, plumbing and electrical we install. Manufacturer warranties on products and appliances pass directly to you.

How far out are you booking?

Design typically starts within two weeks of your consult. Construction start dates depend on permit turnaround in your town, usually 3 to 6 weeks.
